Planning for the future
To renew its workforce, the RTA is leading the way in graduate training and development. The Graduate Recruitment and Development (GRAD) Program is a comprehensive three-year program that will provide you with unbeatable on-the-job learning, broad experience in the RTA’s various activities and invaluable training and development in your chosen discipline.
Rotational job placements
The six placements give you greater insight into the diversity of the RTA’s work and helps you develop different skills through extensive ‘hands on’ field experience working on major infrastructure projects. An out-of-discipline placement enables you to try something new and at least one of your placements will be in regional NSW. While on regional placements you will be assisted with removalist costs and rental subsidies.
Training like no other
As well as on-the-job coaching from experienced professionals and support from mentors, structured training in a range of areas is provided. The RTA also supports and encourages ongoing study by offering financial assistance and study leave.
