Graduate Development Program

Main Roads Engineering Graduate Program provides you with the best opportunity to get your career on the road! Our 3 year program features:

• Starting salary between $49,177 and $51,985 per annum (increasing to between $51,144 and $54,065 respectively from 1st January 2008) with annual increments, plus annual leave loading and superannuation. Overtime options exist for work in regional locations. 
• Different job rotations every 6 and 12 months in our different regional and operational areas giving you the chance to work on challenging projects.
• The opportunity to achieve Chartered Status through our Engineers Australia Development Program partnership.
• A mentor combined with an accredited Learning and Development program to equip you with the skills and knowledge for success in developing your career at Main Roads.
• A guaranteed permanent placement on successful completion of the program.
• Access to our Health & Lifestyle program, Social Club and Development Employee social network
