Is FaHCSIA for you?
As a FaHCSIA Compass Program - Finance Stream participant, you will be offered work in either the Business and Financial Services Group or the Program Operations Group:

  • financial reporting, planning and analysis
  • taxation and accounting
  • financial systems and governance
  • budget estimates, modeling, costing and strategy
  • FaHCSIA’s Online Funding Management System
  • provider financial arrangements
  • performance management, business improvement and network support

FaHCSIA is the Australian Government’s principal source of advice on social policy and is responsible for about a quarter of the government’s budgetary outlays (approximately $50 billion in 07/08).

FaHCSIA’s Compass Program
FaHCSIA’s Compass Program – Finance Stream aims to attract, develop and retain talented finance graduates by introducing them to different facets of their chosen discipline and developing and enhancing their individual skills.

As a Compass participant, you will enjoy access to:
