Our practice

NDY works with leading developers, Architects and Government clients to deliver engineering services for a wide range of buildings throughout our areas of operation. The firm is also involved in design solutions for infrastructure works.

Our projects include some of the highest profile buildings in Australia ranging from Parliament House in Canberra to the new Stadium at Olympic Park in Melbourne.

Delivery of ecologically sustainable solutions is a central focus of NDY’s work. We utilise sophisticated software models to analyse options to assist us with the implementation of systems that enhance the building occupants enjoyment of the space whilst optimising energy consumption.

Our graduates

A key factor in achieving this vision has been the recruiting of excellent graduate engineers and providing extensive on the job training and proactive assistance with career development to ensure aspirations are met in an optimum time frame.

NDY has an active mentor program which ensures that each young engineer is assigned to a senior experienced engineer who provides support and feedback on issues ranging from technical solutions to career development.
We are implementing a structured training program that provides graduates with exposure to experiences in each engineering discipline. The program targets an appropriate balance between office based design activities and site work.

Graduates area also encouraged to undertake appropriate external courses to enhance their development.

The fact that many of the senior positions in NDY are filled by engineers who commenced with NDY as graduates is testimony to the success of our recruitment and training programs.

Our international network of offices provides excellent opportunities for young engineers to travel and gain working experience in a range of locations and working environments.
