The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) is a brand new ‘super’ agency formed in December 2007 to bring together the functions of the former Departments of Education, Science & Training (DEST) and Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR).

OUR REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible to apply for the DEEWR Graduate Programme, you must be:

  • an Australian citizen or permanent residents of Australia applying for citizenship
  • degree qualified with a minimum of a three year undergraduate degree from an Australian tertiary institution or equivalent
  • able to effectively communicate to team members and management
  • able to work with a diverse range of people and build positive relationships
  • able to represent DEEWR in a professional manner
